I’m a woman of simple tastes, especially when it comes to my jewelry. I make a lot of what I wear, and I’ve realized that I create necklaces, bracelets, etc. in a manner very similar to the way I make my food: I try to honor my raw materials and trust that their intrinsic beauty/deliciousness will be revealed without too much fannying around on my part.
