butcher, baker, greeting card maker

Last week I made “thin mint” cupcakes because I forgot I had to make cupcakes, and guess what I had a box of? Girlscout thin mints! I crumbled them up, baked them in cake and topped them with fudge frosting and a little homemade peppermint patty. They came out pretty cute for a last second attempt.
This week I have made a more concerted effort to remember my creative responsibilities and I think tomorrow I’m going to make—get this—salted caramel cupcakes. Classy, huh? I hope the Tombs can handle it. Stay tuned!
