The day after bread baking is perfect for sweets baking- I’m usually tired, and don’t want to do anything strenuous in the sun, and the oven has cooled down to around 350 degrees. Pictured here: Alice Waters’s almond cake made using our incredible eggs, topped with strawberries picked fresh from the garden (picking strawberries doesn’t count as strenuous, it counts as delicious).
